PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which improves deodorizing efficiency and a sterilizing effect by almost uniformizing irradiation intensity of an ultraviolet ray to a photocatalyst, and decomposes and sterilizes an organic substance component and bacteria being the cause of an odor sticking to a surface of various apparatuses. SOLUTION: The purpose is attained by this refrigerator having an air duct for delivering air in a storage by sucking and cooling the air in the storage by a cooler, provided with a planar ultraviolet radiation lamp arranged to the windward of the cooler in the air duct and a photocatalyst filter for constituting a corrugate or honeycomb-shaped ventilation flue in an irradiation range of this ultraviolet radiation lamp, and provided with an anion generator for supplying an anion in the circulating air.
