PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation reinforcing method which allows structural calculation for a concrete foundation part of an existing wooden house and enables the sure securement of structural strength after reinforcement. SOLUTION: The outside and inside of a concrete foundation 12 are covered with reinforcing steel plates 14 and 15 having L-shaped cross sections; and a bolt 16 is passed through the steel plates 14 and 15 and the concrete foundation 12 between the steel plates 14 and 15, and fixed by a nut 17 so that the steel plates 14 and 15 can be integrally fixed to the concrete foundation 12. The execution of such work all around the existing house allows the performance of foundation reinforcement which enables the structural calculation and in which the structural strength after the reinforcement is surely secured.
