PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for placing concrete having a flat upper surface, which is for use in constructing a floor slab or the like of a building skeleton with concrete with high efficiency, wherein the method is carried out by placing ready mixed-concrete, compacting the same, and flattening the upper surface of the concrete by means of a smoothing tool such as a trowel during or after the compaction, minimizes adhesion of the ready mixed-concrete to the smoothing tool, and dispenses with flattening work which is a burden on the operator. SOLUTION: The method for placing concrete having a flat upper surface is carried out by placing the ready mixed-concrete in a concrete placement surface, compacting the concrete, and surface-finishing the same. More specifically, in the method, the placed ready mixed-concrete is compacted from above, and the upper surface of the concrete is flattened to a possible extent. Then, a synthetic resin net is laid on the upper surface of the concrete, which is then smoothed via the net by means of the smoothing tool, to thereby surface-finish the concrete.
