<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet for proofreading, which is excellent in hue, gloss value and appearance in inkjet printing, and has a feel remarkably similar to that of printing paper serving as a proofreading object. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording sheet for the proofreading, at least one gloss adjusting layer and at least ink absorbing layer are sequentially applied onto a substrate which is composed of pulp fibers. The inkjet recording sheet is characterized as follows: the gloss adjusting layer contains a white pigment equivalent to 40 mass% or more of total solids; and a haze index, which is prescribed as follows, of the ink absorbing layer is 20% or less. The haze index is prescribed as follows: the haze value of a transparent polyethylene film with a haze value of 2% or less, which is specified by JIS-K7105, is set at A (%); the haze value of a material, in which the ink absorbing layer is applied for drying onto on the transparent polyethylene film so that a solid content can be set at 10 g/m<SP>2</SP>, is set at B (%); and in this case, a value obtained by B-A (%) serves as the haze index of the ink absorbing layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
