<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water faucet with a light, enabling a user to wash the hands favorably without hindrance with illumination in washing the hands in the darkness at night and be free from uneasiness by preventing the start of discharging water before the start of lighting and the stop of discharging water after lights-out. <P>SOLUTION: In this automatic hand washing water faucet 32, according to human body detection and non-detection of a human body detecting sensor 52, water is discharged and stopped from a discharge port 50. A light emitting part 54 for illumination is provided for illuminating the discharged water flow and the hands, and light emission from the light emitting part 54 and stop of light emission are performed so that before the start of discharging water, the light emitting part 54 emits light, and after the stop of discharging water, the light emitting part 54 stops emission of light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
