<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicles displaying effective quick heating ability independent of the valve opening property of an expansion valve. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with an electric heater 41, which can heat the refrigerant (compressor suction refrigerant) at an outlet, a pressure and temperature detecting sensor 42 for detecting a degree SH of over heat of the refrigerant at the evaporator outlet and a control means 43 for controlling the calory coming from the electric heater 41 based on the detection result so that the refrigerant at the evaporator outlet becomes a specified degree SH of over heat. By this constitution, this air conditioner has excellent quick heating ability, and the compressor suction refrigerant returns to a compressor 2 with a certain degree of proper over heat regardless of the valve opening property TXV of the expansion valve 6 and a heat load at an evaporator 7, both of cooling performance and heating performance can be reconciled with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
