<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a goods temporary placement shelf and a goods sorting system achieving efficient sorting work depending on the number of goods. <P>SOLUTION: A goods temporary placement table 1 comprises hanging columns 14, holding members 15, wheels 16, sliding rails 19, a goods temporary placement plate 11, a rotary plate 12, a rotating shaft 13, and displays 10a, 10b. The hanging column 14 has a lower end secured to the goods temporary placement plate 11 and an upper end movably secured to the sliding rail 19 installed on a ceiling via the holding member 15 and the wheel 16. The goods temporary placement plate 11 has one side face secured to the display 10a and the rotary plate 12 has one side face secured to the display 10b.
