PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner additive comprising organic resin fine particles which can impart proper electrification performance to a toner without damaging toner resin or machines. SOLUTION: The toner additive comprising organic resin fine particles is obtained by preparing a dispersion liquid of organic resin fine particles having 0.1 to 1.0μm average particle size by controlling the liquid property during polymerizing or after polymerizing or by copolymerizing monomers having carboxyl groups and/or sulfonic acid groups, and then spray-drying into organic resin fine particles.
