PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily discriminable fluorescent marking stain. SOLUTION: The fluorescent marking stain comprises a resin present in a concentration of about 10 to about 20%, an active solvent compatible with the resin present in a concentration of about 65 to about 85%, a plasticizer present in a concentration of about 1.0 to about 5.0%, a fluorescent brightener present in a concentration of about 0.5 to about 5.0%, and a fluorescent dye present in a concentration of about 0.1 to about 5.0%.
