METHOD FOR MAKING LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a printing plate with high visibility of an image and high printing durability in a method for making a lithographic printing plate to apply an undeveloped silver halide image in a silver halide emulsion layer as an oleophilic ink-receiving portion. SOLUTION: In the method for making a lithographic printing plate by exposing and developing a photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer and then subjecting the material to the treatment to impart oleophilic property to selectively change the undeveloped silver halide image part into oleophilic and ink receptive, the plate after the development and before the oleophilic treatment is treated with a treating liquid containing a dimercapto compound and triazinetrithiol.
