PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe supporter imparting proper engaging force corresponding to the bore of a down pipe. SOLUTION: In the down pipe supporter having a structure in which one end of two-part receiving bodies 1 and a cover body 2 are mutually attached pivotally and brought to an openable and closeable state, an engaging receiving section 4 is installed at either one free end section of the receiving bodies 1 or the cover body 2, an engaging section 5 engaged with the engaging receiving section 4 is formed to the other and these receiving bodies 1 and cover body 2 are clamped and held to the down pipe T, a plurality of engaging pawls 51, 52, 53 and the like having different engaging force to the engaging receiving section 4 in the engaging section 5, and the engaging force is weakened with the clamping of the cover bodies 2.
