PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system which can display an image of uniform and optimum picture quality corresponding to a purpose of use whichever the constitution of the system is. SOLUTION: The image display system which displays an image corresponding to supplied image data on a display and comprises the display, a means which obtains and stores system constitution information, an image processing part which processes the supplied image data according to the obtained system constitution information, and a video card which outputs the image data processed by the image processing part as a display signal to the display.
