PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deodorize an offensive odor gas containing ammonia by simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this heat-regenerative combustion type deodorization equipment, there are a plurality of regenerators 2 of which the one end is communicated with a combustion chamber 4 having a heating means 3, and of which the other end is connected to an ammonia-containing offensive gas supply pipe P<SB>1</SB>and a treated gas discharge pipe P<SB>2</SB>via directional control valves V, and the directional control valves are switched in order in every prescribed time to supply the offensive odor gas to anyone of the regenerative chambers, and the treated gas is discharged from the another regenerator after thermally decomposed in the combustion chamber. In the deodorization equipment, a heater 5 is arranged in the offensive gas supply pipe, and a heat-regenerative body of a low temperature part in an offensive gas supplying side out of the heat-regenerative bodies filled in the regenerative chambers comprises an ammonia non-adsorptive heat-regenerative body S<SB>2</SB>.
