PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily stabilize combustion in a stoker type incinerator. SOLUTION: A control means 17 is provided to control a secondary combustion air supplying device 6, based on a detected result in a laser current meter 10, to bring secondary combustion air from the secondary combustion air supplying device 6 into a target velocity in the incinerator, by providing the laser current meter 10 for emitting a laser beam toward gas in a drying zone to detect the velocity of the gas.
