PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an outflow of lubricating oil from a casing, in a compressor having a discharge pipe 18 near a bearing 41 of a crankshaft 34 disposed between a motor 33 and a compression mechanism 20. SOLUTION: Between the motor 33 and the compression mechanism 20, a cylindrical shield plate 45 is arranged to cover a balance weight 35 of the crankshaft 34 and cover an end of the bearing 41 at one end so that lubricating oil flowing out from the bearing 41 is led to the other end. The shield plate 45 is formed so that an inside diameter is increased from the one end of the bearing 41 to the other end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
