The receiver produces correlation value data by multiplying the received signal by the spread code and a predetermined pattern data. It calculates (11) a signal to interference ratio (SIR) of the received signal, and determine timing of the predetermined pattern data in response to the correlation value and the SIR. An independent claim describes a CDMA receiver for receiving, as a reception signal, a signal given by subjecting a data signal to spread modulation. |
