摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impulse wave and pulsating pressure occurring following opening or closing of a fuel injector and to prevent occurrence of abnormal sound and various failures, in a fuel delivery pipe used in an electronic fuel injection type engine for an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting surface of a socket of outer wall surfaces of a communication pipe is used as a non-flat surface such as a step surface, a bent surface, or a corrugated uneven surface and has rigidity higher than that of the other surfaces. An abnormal sound occurring from the periphery of a socket mounting part is reduced in the high rigidity surface. Otherwise, a socket part is formed of part of the outer wall surfaces of the communication pipe, and is increased in rigidity. Otherwise, the mounting surface of the socket of the outer wall surfaces of the communication pipe is fixed with a plurality of strip type ribs to have higher rigidity than the other surfaces. Preferably, at least one outer wall surface of the communication pipe is a flexible absorbing surface in a flat shape or a circular arc shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
