<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more securely join a windmill blade and a windmill rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The windmill blade comprises a blade root part 2 formed from a laminate formed by the lamination of a plurality of layers 17, studs 16 penetrating the plurality of layers 17, and embedded metal fittings 4 integrally joined to the studs 16. The embedded metal fittings 4 have a bore 13 provided with an internal thread 14. The embedded metal fittings 4 are fastened with bolts inserted in the bores 13 to join the windmill rotor supported rotatably and the windmill blade 1. The blade root part 2 supports a load on the windmill blade 1. The studs 16 prevent the plurality of layers 17 from separating from one another to cause the windmill blade 1 to dislodge from the windmill rotor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
