<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shift of sampling timing caused by a temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pulse P entering at a prescribed cycle from a pulse light source 21 is allowed to enter the one end side of a dispersion reducing fiber 28, and a narrower optical pulse P' passing the dispersion reducing fiber 28 and emitted from its other end side is allowed to enter a sampling part 50. On the other hand, light X to be measured entering from an input terminal 20a receives a delay from a light delay means 30, and delayed light X' to be measured is allowed to enter the sampling part 50 and sampled by the optical pulse P', and a pulse signal Es acquired by the sampling is outputted. The light delay means 30 changes a delay time to the light X to be measured so as to follow the length fluctuation of the dispersion reducing fiber 28 caused by the change of an ambient temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
