<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation having high aging preventive effect so as to address various skin troubles such as rough skin and skin aging symptoms including development of wrinkles and fleckles and skin resilience decline due to extraneous stresses such as aging and ultraviolet radiation. <P>SOLUTION: The skin care preparation having high aging-preventive effect is obtained by formulating the extract of a plant belonging to the genus Lycopodium L. based on the finding that, surprisingly, said extract has markedly antioxidative and enderonic fibroblast- and epidermal cell-activating effects, as a result of screening substances having effective activating actions with said effects as indicators. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
