摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing without changing constitution of a device even when processing speed is improved in an electrophotographic printer.

SOLUTION: A printing-synchronized paper feeding preparation signal is sent out by a period T2 required for a series of operation for accelerating carrying of paper to a processing speed from the timing that a latent image exposed to a photosensitive drum surface at the start of printing reaches a transfer point 6 in advance. A series of operation for accelerating carrying of the paper to the processing speed is carried out with this as a turning point, thereby printing can be performed without changing constitution of the device even when the processing speed is improved.
