<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a variable displacement piston pump that is structurally simple because of a small spring, a compact pump and a small part of a control cylinder and control valve for driving a swash plate, and renders a piston chamber pressure in the pump less susceptible to effects of a torque variation due to a use condition variation in rotating speed, oil temperature and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The control cylinder 8 for operating the swash plate 2 is arranged parallel to a driveshaft 1, and a control spool 7 is built in the control cylinder 8 as the control valve for constant torque control, so that the force of pump pressure oil led to a small diameter pin oil chamber 19 defined in the control spool 7 moves a pin 16, the control spool 7, the control cylinder 8 and the swash plate 2. With increasing pressure of pump pressure oil, the pin 16 pushes the control spool 7 and the spring 4 to reduce a pump discharge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
