<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a surface treatment for supplying a golf club head arranged in such a manner that a uniform matte state can be assured on the uppermost surface of plating layers and that the corrosion resistance thereof can be made higher than that by the conventional methods, relating to the golf club head formed with the chrome plating layer on the uppermost layer of the plating layers formed on the surface of the golf club head. <P>SOLUTION: A head body 1 formed with the formed plating layers is immersed as an anode 12 together with a cathode 13 into an electrolyte 11 of a bath 10 and a prescribed current is passed for a prescribed time between both of the cathode 13 and the anode 12 from a DC power source to perform a process step of applying the electrolytic treatment to react the electrolyte 11 with the uppermost surface of the plating layers which are the anode 12, by which the surface of the chrome plating layer electrodeposited on the uppermost layer of the plating layers is uniformly perforated and the matte surface layer can be formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
