PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably pressure-feed the liquid by a simple method. SOLUTION: Two pumps are connected in series to pressure-feed the liquid. The upstream pump has a standard of a discharge amount in predetermined pump head, more than that of the downstream pump. When the pumps are connected in series in a state where the downstream pump discharges the liquid more than that of the discharge amount of the upstream pump, bubbles are mixed between two pumps, which impairs the efficient pressure-feed of the liquid. On the contrary, when the pump of high discharge amount is combined at the upstream side, the upstream pump pressure-feeds the liquid more than that discharged by the downstream pump, whereby the mixing of bubbles between two pumps is prevented, and the liquid is stably pressure-feed.
