PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chart and a method for selecting a color scheme whereby even a person having no specialist knowledge of colors and the color scheme can select colors and execute an adequate color scheme with ease in conformity with the purpose, the use, an image or others. SOLUTION: The chart for selecting the color scheme has a base plate on the surface of which a plurality of patches of colors different from each other are formed. On the occasion when the palm of one hand is put on the base plate so that any finger tip in the hand indicates any patch selected from the patches in a plurality, the patches of the colors in harmony with those of the patch indicated by the finger tip are disposed within the sphere covered by the palm.
