<p>Method for detection of two or more moving objects (28, 30) in a monitoring region created by a light grid (20) composed of a multiplicity of parallel light barriers. To prevent deactivation of the protection field when a number of objects are moving through it, a preset object entrance region is defined and the size of the objects (28, 30) and the distance or distances between them is monitored. If criteria relating to size, separation and entrance region are not fulfilled, a control signal is generated and a system can, if necessary, be shut down. An Independent claim is included for a corresponding light grid.</p> |
