<p>A connector 1 for a fuel tank T includes a flange portion 10, an outer connecting portion 11 to be connected to a pipe member H and an inner connecting portion 12 to be inserted into a fuel tank T through a connecting opening TC of the fuel tank T. The inner connecting portion 12 has an engaging portion 12a to be engaged with an engaged portion 2a provided to a casing member 2 when the member 2 is to be disposed in the fuel tank T. The flange portion 10 includes an outer flange member 10b made of a synthetic resin same as that of an outer surface of the fuel tank T, and an inner flange member 10a made of a synthetic resin having a gas barrier property and a rigidity higher than that of the synthetic resin constituting the outer flange member 10b. The inner connecting portion 12 and the inner flange member 10b are made of the same material. The case member 2, 21 may house a float 22 constituting a float valve 20. At least an outer peripheral portion of the outer flange member 10 is heat fused or welded to the fuel tank T.</p> |
