<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus suitable for the reduction of maintenance cost and the miniaturization of the apparatus without newly providing a toner replenishing path or deteriorating maintenance work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: a plurality of image forming units 14 each of which has an image forming means for forming a developer image on each photoreceptor drum 2 and is attachable to/detachable from an image forming apparatus main body 1; and a plurality of developer supply units 15 which store toner supplied to the units 14 respectively and are attachable to/detachable from the main body 1.
