<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn off power feed to the receiving part of an image forming apparatus main body by detaching the cover of a feed part in the feed system of an image forming apparatus so as to improve safety in maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving side connector 13 for receiving power is provided on a power source unit 10 provided in the main body 2 of an image forming apparatus 1, and a feeding side connector 14 connected to a feed line 19 is provided on a cover body 11. By detaching the cover body 11, the connector 14 of the feed system is automatically detached from the connector 13, so that an operation is performed in a state where a power source is turned off in the case of the maintenance of the main body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
