<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination seal equipped in the bearing part of the wheel of a car having a speed detection function device, which can hold an outside radial lip without reversing when installed. <P>SOLUTION: When bringing an elastic seal with a radial lip and an outside radial lip close to a slinger, the edge side of the outside radial lip is in such a state as not to contact to the circumference face opposite to a seal ring of the slinger side cylindrical part when the edge side of the radial lip contacts the circumference face of the slinger side cylindrical part first. When it brings more closer, the edge side of the radial lip slides on the circumference face opposite to the seal ring of the slinger side cylindrical part, and the edge side of the outside radial lip moves to the seal ring of the slinger side cylindrical part. The edge side of the outside radial lip starts sliding on the circumference face of the seal ring of the slinger side cylindrical part, when it becomes the condition that the edge side of the radial lip contacts to the circumference face opposing to the seal ring of the slinger side cylindrical part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
