<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip for an applicator in which a spring used in the tip is easy of handling and can be inserted easily into a tip main body, and air is scarcely left and which is resistant to deflection when compressed and controls the occurrence of ink drops and ink leakage. <P>SOLUTION: The spring is a coil spring and has a close winding part and a loose winding part.
