<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a center sealing roll which has no thermal effect on bearing lubricants. <P>SOLUTION: Each rotor 11 is set on respective vertical shafts 10 disposed to a pair of cylindrical bearings 20 arranged between upper and lower table base plates 21 and 22, and by using a plurality of screws 24, each rotor 11 and each vertical shaft 10 are joined to each other. Butt-seam edges of a moving strip film are welded to each other by an annular heater 32 disposed inside each coronary skirt 31 of both the rotors. An annular liquid tank 34 fixed on the upper face of the upper table base plate 21 isolates ball bearings 25, which are substantial bearings of the inside of the cylindrical bearings 20, from the annular heaters 32, and protects lubricants held by the ball bearings 25 from heat by means of a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
