<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent film for a display which has excellent optical isotropy and heat resistance, extremely reduces the dimensional variation after heating at high temperatures, furthermore reduces color shading due to the difference in refractive index between the coating layer and the substrate of a film, sufficiently prevents natural light from shining and entering, and excels in mar resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent film for a display having an extremely superior display quality level is obtained by forming a coating layer having a refractive index smaller than the refractive index of a plastic film on the outermost layer of one surface of the film, a surface roughness Ra of >30 nm, and excellent mar resistance, and forming a coating layer having a refractive index nearly equal to the refractive index of the film on the outermost layer of the other surface of the film, and excellent chemical resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
