PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat transfer efficiency by increasing a heating area to a material to be treated. SOLUTION: A heat treatment apparatus is equipped with a rotary oven 10 for heat treating the material to be treated by indirect heating from outside. The rotary oven 10 is installed with a heat transfer cylinder 101 the inside wall of which comprises a material having high thermal conductivity.
