PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from leaking outside of the fuel supplying system by absorbing and maintaining the water content included in fuel to the partition wall made of water-absorbing macromolecules. CONSTITUTION:The filter consists of the fuel inlet 2 and outlet 3, the upper case 5 containing the filter element 4 to remove dusts and refuges, the lower case 6 to be utilized as the water storage for the water separated from the fuel and the oil-water separation wall 7 containing partition wall made from highly water-absorbing macromolecules such as highly water-absorbing resin fiber of polyacryl acid family partitioning the upper case 5 and the lower case 6. Because of the said arrangement, the partition made of water-absorbing macromolecules absorbs and maintains the water content included in the fuel to prevent the fuel from invading into the partition, and accordingly the fuel does not leak outside through the said partition.
