<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter wherein film thickness of pixel parts can be made thick and high color purity can be attained. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter having a transparent substrate and a pixel area formed on the transparent substrate and having the pixel parts of a plurality of colors is characterized in that common color layers wherein at least two pixel parts of two colors of the pixel parts of a plurality of the colors are formed over the two pixel parts of the two colors and peculiar color layers respectively formed at individual pixel parts and peculiar to individual pixel parts are laminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
