EXTRUSION-FOAMED SHEET OF POLYPROPYLENE RESIN AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion-foamed sheet of a polypropylene resin having excellent heat insulating properties and rigidity, and to provide a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: This extrusion-foamed sheet of a polypropylene resin has a foaming rate of≥2 and≤30, a closed cell ratio of≥50%, and a cell density of≥25 cells/mm2. Carbon dioxide may be used as a foaming agent. The polypropylene resin for the sheet may have a melt tension of≥5 g at 230°C. The molded article is obtained by thermal forming of the sheet.
