PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a corrosion-and wear-resistant member which has excellent durability and can be reduced in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the corrosion- and wear-resistant member comprises applying a slurry obtained by mixing an alloy of spherical particles which are manufactured by an atomization process, has a grain size distribution (grain size width) of 1/3χtoχμm and attains 30≤χ≤150μm and a binder to the surface of a steel base material, then drying, degreasing and sintering the coating in a coating method for applying the corrosion- and wear- resistant alloy to the surface of the steel material.
