摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder for press sintering having excellent shape retaining and sintering properties for the purpose of manufacturing sintered parts having low thermal expansion properties. SOLUTION: The powder for press sintering is formed by atomizing molten metal formed by adding≥0.1 to <10 mass% in total at least 1 kind of rare earth element to a low thermal expansion alloy by using gas containing≥5 vol.% gaseous nitrogen.
