HEAT INSULATING STRUCTURE FOR CRYOGENIC TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating structure for cryogenic tank which reduces the amount of the bending moment to zero or greatly though the maximum bending moment acts on the stud bolts located near the boundary between the semi-spherical part of the cylindrical tank and the cylindrical body. SOLUTION: In the cryogenic tank, a wire net 3a for reinforcement is interposed in the middle position of an inside-and-outside laminated part 2a, 2b of the two-layer laminated structure consisting of a synthetic resin foaming body. The tank consists of a cylindrical tank 1 integrally connected a semi- spherical part 1a to both ends of a cylindrical body 1b, and a cord body 4A such as a wire and a rope is used as a supporting tool 4 for fixing the inner side laminated part 2a to the tank body 1.
