PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding support capable of lessening dimensions of a plane surface and lessening a relative sliding amount at a sliding surface, without hurting any performance of the sliding support concerning to a permissible amount of large relative displacement to a horizontal direction between a supported structure and a supporting structure, and making sure of a designated pressure receiving area on the sliding surface. SOLUTION: The sliding support 21 is arranged between the supported structure 3 and the supporting structure 1, and also supports the supported structure 3 while allowing its horizontal relative displacement between both structure. A pair of sliding surfaces with the same shape sliding to a horizontal direction is provided for a plurality of pairs in an up and down direction in series. Upon shifting the plurality of pairs of sliding surfaces to one direction in a stairs- shape in case that relative displacement is generated between both structures, a relative displacement dispersion transmitting means 27, in which the relative displacement is transmitted by dispersing to the plurality of pairs of the sliding surfaces, is provided.
