摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological Ni-free titanium alloy which has more improved biocompatibility and also has superelastic properties. <P>SOLUTION: The biological superelastic titanium alloy has a composition containing Mo as a &beta; phase stabilizing element of titanium and one kind of metal selected from Al, Ga and Ge which are &alpha; phase stabilizing elements and have the biocompatibility and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities. For example, the content of the Mo is 2 to 12 at.%, and the content of the Ga as an &alpha; phase stabilizing element is &le;14 at.%. Alternatively, the content of the Mo is 2 to 12 at.%, and the content of the Al as an &alpha; phase stabilizing element is 3 to 14 at.%.
