<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality image which is excellent in coloring and luster in inkjet recorded matter. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording is performed using an ink set comprising a clear ink composition, at least a yellow ink composition, a magenta ink composition, and a cyan ink composition, wherein the clear ink composition comprises water, a cationic resin, a polymer fine particle, and no coloring agent. The cationic resin is preferably polyethylene imine. The polyethylene imine has preferably a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 0.1 million or less.
