<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rubbing of an image at a leading edge when an envelope or cardboard passes, and to prevent toner scattering caused by peeling electrification when thin paper passes. <P>SOLUTION: In a fixing device having a pressuring force changing mechanism, a pressure abutting angle is simultaneously changed when pressuring force is changed, whereby the optimum pressuring force and the pressure abutting angle in accordance with recording material are realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
