PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microporous membrane that shows a high film breaking temperature at a small amount of an inorganic powder. SOLUTION: This microporous membrane is made of a polyolefin comprising≥1 wt.% and <20 wt.% of particles having an average particle size of≤100 nm.
