<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having a low refractive index suitable to a material having a low refractive index for forming an anti-reflecting coating, a light diffusion sheet for a liquid crystal display and the like due to its excellent quality as a material having a low refractive index, and also to provide an anti-reflection coating using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The composition having a low refractive index comprises fine composite particles containing an inorganic compound and an organic compound, and the organic compound contains one having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more as the essential component which preferably comprises a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing a monomer having a fluorine atom, and the anti-reflection coating is produced by laminating the above composition having a low refractive index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
