POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION FOR MATERIALS HAVING HIGH INDEX OF REFRACTION, ADHESIVE AGENT AND RESIN FOR OPTICAL MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition or an optical resin obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable composition, which has a high index of refraction and high transparency and useful for an optical adhesive agent or other optical materials. SOLUTION: The optical adhesive agent or other optical materials is characterized by comprising a compound (a) having one or more thioepoxy group in a molecule and a compound (b) having one or more mercapto group in a molecule, and in that when the mole number of the thioepoxy group in the compound (a) is designated as A and the mole number of mercapto group in the compound (b) is designated as B, A and B are contained in the range represented by formula (1): 0.6≤B/A≤1.0. The resin obtained from the polymerizable composition or by polymerizing the polymerizable composition is employed as an optical adhesive agent or other optical materials. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
