PURPOSE:To make current-energization to an ignition coil controllable with a single measuring device and a comparing device, by inputting the starting and stopping of the current-energization into the comparing device so as not to be overlapped in a timing manner at all engine driving ranges. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inputting a reference signal being synchronized with an engine speed, with a signal out of a current-energization judging device E judging of whether an ignition coil is being energized with current or not, and each signal out of current-energization starting and stop timing setting devices B and C, a first inputting device F inputs set current-energization stop timing this time as well as set current energization start timing at the next time into a comparing device D respectively, till just before this time's current-energization stop since the reference signal being inputted at the time of judging that it is during the current-energization. On the other hand, at judgement of nonenergization, a second inputting device G inputs the current-energization stop timing at this time and the set current-energization start timing at the next time into the comparing device D respectively, and controls the current-energization to the ignition coil so as not to be overlapped by a position signal being measured by a measuring device A. Thus, the measuring device of a timer device or the like can be made into simplicity.
