<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the size of a radar target capable of determining the size of the radar target. <P>SOLUTION: From a probability distribution of a target reception voltage determined by the size of the target for every scan, a cumulative probability distribution which changes according to the integration number of scan integrations is acquired to determine both the number of integration scans, so as to acquire a desired determination probability or an error determination probability and a corresponding determination threshold value. According to the determination threshold value, the size of the target is determined. Therefore, by applying statistic processing on a single target reception voltage, which is a probability variable for every scan, it is possible to determine the size of the target on the basis of the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
