摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one component toner which improves the reproducibility of a fine line by suppressing the occurrence of charging member contamination, drum scratching, ghost, and the fogging in the latter half of an endurance test. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises at least an electrostatic latent image carrier, an electrostatic charging member provided in contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier, and a toner carrier provided in contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier at least in the case of development. The image forming apparatus applies the superimpose voltage of DC voltage and AC voltage to the electrostatic latent image carrier to charge the electrostatic latent image carrier, and contact-develop an electrostatic latent image formed at the charged electrostatic latent image carrier with the one component toner carried by the toner carrier. The one component toner used in the image forming apparatus contains toner particles and at least two kinds of external additives which are an external additive A and an external additive B containing different inorganic element A and inorganic element B respectively, and the three-element synchronization rate of carbon derived from the toner particles, the inorganic element A, and the inorganic element B calculated from measurement result obtained by a particle analyzer ranges 5 to 60%.
